Its audio output plugs into the soundcard. It is an alternative to the Radio21 for desktop PCs with a spare PCI slot and has a similar performance. Supplied with a wire type FM aerial but can be used with an adapter, with any FM aerial feed. Compatible with Windows 95+ as well as 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Linux.

It comes with its own software and drivers.  These allow stand-alone use as a desktop FM radio.  It can be set-up with "Sleep" and "Wake" function like a radio alarm clock.  It also has a basic built-in   radio recording capability. When used with pc-Recorda, the pci FM Radio becomes much more versatile.
